About the country

Tanzania is the land of high-end safaris : In the vast Serengeti park, with its great plains, a paradise for lions ; in Tarangire, the park of elephants and baobabs ; around Lake Manyara with its birds and hippos ; in the magnificent Ngorongoro crater.

After several days of feasting our eyes, a short extension on Pemba island, to rest and dive, let us end this incredible trip in style.

We settled in near Misali island and dived the reef there, where the seabed is teeming with fish and life. At most, we were 4 or 5 people underwater !

Dive 170 at Fundu Lagoon : a professional dive club. Day trip out to Misali island, 2 dives. The picnics are simply enormous !

Fundu Lagoon : A stunning slice of paradise, breathtaking setting, good restaurant. It takes some effort to get to, on the far side of the airport : 50 minutes by car and 20 minutes by boat.
