About the country
Lanzarote is the easternmost island of the Canary Islands archipelago (Spain), off the coast of Morocco, washed by the Atlantic Ocean.
A beautiful volcanic island, Lanzarote has lovely sandy bottoms, a mix of tropical fish and fish from colder waters. A reef and wrecks south of the island are accessible from Puerto del Carmen. Other sites are accessible from Playa Flamengo in Santa Rosa.
Dives depart from Playa Flamengo or the Puerto Calero dock. The wrecks are just a few minutes away by boat from Puerto Calero.
